Christmas recital

Abigale had another dance recital and this time Grandma Wigington, Grandma Triptow, Larry, and Mom and dad were able to come. She did a great job once again.

Ward Christmas party

St. George

The day after Thanksgiving 2011 we went with some friends to St. George. It was such nice weather and we had a blast. Kemp made us plenty of smoothies, we went to the park, had yummy cupcakes, saw Puss in Boots, ate at Don Pedros, and played games. I love the picture of Dawson shaking his booty! We are so lucky to be able to use my parents place in St. George. What a great trip it was.

Thanksgiving 2011

Thanksgiving is such a great holiday to get together with family. We always have a big lunch with all of my moms family. Some live close by and some travel from Arizona. We always have the best food and enjoy spending time together. We went to see the Muppet movie this year. It was very cute.

Ethan is 12

Wow time goes by fast. I can't believe Ethan is now 12. He is so tall and has started passing the sacrament. It is fun to have your kids get older but also so sad. I am just not ready for him to grow up. He got new scriptures because the ones that he got when he was 8 got lost, and some skurfs. He wanted mint brownies instead of cake so that is what I made. I am trying to enjoy my little ones while they are small but it just keeps going faster and faster. Happy b - day Ethan!

Dance recital

In November Abigale had a dance recital. She was so darling. She wasn't even acting shy. She actually danced and did such a great job. Little girls are so much fun.

Happy Halloween 2011

Halloween finally came and Abigale left her costume at school so I had to rush and figure something out. We used her dance skirt and turned her into a zebra. It wasn't what I had planned but it worked. Ethan went with some friends and Gavin went part of the time with Aaron and the younger two then took off with some friends. They got plenty of candy. We had a pizza shaped like a pumpkin for dinner. So cute. I love Halloween!

Dinner and a parade

I always do a fun dinner for Halloween. This year we had mummies in a blanket, eyeballs (meatballs),fruit, and some spicy chips because I never buy chips and when my mom gives them some they love them. Our treats were chocolate covered rice krispy treats, caramel chocolate covered pretzel rods, and candy corn. They kids loved it. They also had the Halloween parade at school that they do every year. So cute.

Crazy hair 2011

Crazy hair day is so much fun. The kids look forward to it all year. Dawson was jealous so he wore his Halloween costume. So cute!

It has been a while

I have been feeling like I can hardly stay on top of just the basic needs of my family lately so I have not had much time for extra things, like blogging. My sister sent me a text and said that I should update my blog so I went to the computer thinking it hadn't been that long. Wow she was right. I know that fall was a long time ago but I have a little OCD and can't go out of order so these were the next pictures. Every year we plant pumpkins and then harvest them in the fall. It is such a great tradition and the kids love it. Our crop wasn't as good as other years but it was still fun. What cute kids I have!
