Sledding in the backyard!!!

Rob dub dub

There is something so precious about a freshly washed babe. Dawson just got out of the shower with Aaron, any of you with little boys know how nice it is to slip you child in the shower with your husband. He has the best smiles. What a perfect little child, well close to perfect.

Abigales dance recital

On December 13 Abigale had a Christmas dance recital. It was the curtest thing ever. They did three dances to frosty the snowman, I saw mommy kissing Santa Clause and one more. She did such a good job. Santa showed up and scared one little girl to death. I must admit I started to laugh. They all got to sit on Santa's lap and tell what they want for Christmas. Abigale said that she wanted a candy cane. Gavin wants Lego Batman for the Wii. Ethan, who was to big this year so Santa had to sit on his lap asked for a Nintendo ds. Dawson, well what can I say, he sorta flipped out. When we first sat Dawson on his lap he was fine, trying his hardest to look up and see what this soft fluffy thing was that he was sitting on. As soon as he got a glimpse of Santa's face it was all over. Gotta love those crying pictures. Christmas is such a wonderful time of year. Even in times that are as hard and testing as the ones we are in, we are still so blessed. I am so thankful for a wonderful husband who truly loves me, great kids who are growing way to fast, a wonderful mother who is such a great example to me,a hard working father , outstanding friends who are always here for me, and a Savior that is always near. I hope that we can all remember the true meaning of Christmas and have a wonderful holiday season.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

I love Thanksgiving! We get together with my mom's side of the family and all have a huge lunch, hang out all day and then eat dinner. This year it was at my aunt Vickie's house. I made the sweet potatoes with butter, marshmallows, and brown sugar. They are divine. Everything was so good. Dawson even took a nap in his play pen which really helps. Unfortunately a lot of my relatives had the flu on or shortly after Thanksgiving. We were so lucky to dodge that bullet! I love my family and I am so grateful that after all of these years we still continue our fun traditions. How do you like Aaron's Mohawk? I dared him to keep it and he did for three days. Abigale was so cute, my grandpa told her to draw a picture of herself so she did. It looks just like her don't you think?

Cute little one

Dawson was having so much fun bouncing on daddy's back. He is such a fun baby, I hate how fast time is going. It makes you want to hold on to each moment as tight as you can before they are gone!

Ethan's football party

On Saturday the 22 of November Ethan had his 9th birthday party. It was a football party and it was so much fun. It started at 12:30 and didn't end until 3:30. We played fun football games, the boys made their own jerseys, ate pizza, cake, a football pinjata, and had a football game. The boys had a blast and although there were 12 boys it went very well. It is bittersweet when your kids start getting older. Fun but sad at the same time.

TWILIGHT

So the day or night I should say, finally arrived. My friend Jody rented out a theatre and we saw the midnight showing of Twilight last night. It was so much fun. Lots of people dressed up and really got into it. The movie was good, Edward was hot. I think that it is one of those movies that you need to see again but all in all it was great. I loved Edward, charlie, and Jessica the best. James was very spooky and so was Victoria, (aka Nikki.) It was a very fun night but I didn't go to bed until 3:30 and woke up at 7:00. I might not make it through this day.
