Ethan turned 10

On November 19 Ethan turned 10. Wow it feels like only yesterday that we became parents. He has been such a joy in my life. I remember when it was just the two of us and we went every where together. Every three months I took him to get his pictures taken at the mall. When he was old enough we would stop at hot dog on a stick and get a corn dog and lemonade. Man he loved those things. He is growing so quickly but I will always remember his as my little shopping buddy. We went to the cabin for his birthday and he got a Nintendo DS. Not a bad birthday I would say.

Once there was a snowman

It snowed pretty good one day so Abigale just had to make a snowman. It turned out pretty cute but only a day later it had melted!

Halloween

Halloween is such a fun Holiday. We had a great Halloween party with food, games, and costumes. The kids did the fun parade at school where mom gets to sit for over and hour to see 2 minutes of kids, but they love it. They all loved trick or treating, even Dawson. He would run from one house to the next and always wanted to eat the candy that was just placed in his bag. When he got home he was on such a sugar high that he was running around in circles saying juice juice. What cute little spooks they are.

Pickin pumpkins

Once again we had a great crop of pumpkins. We all went out back and the kids picked which pumpkin they wanted for Halloween. It is becoming a fun family tradition.

Dawson is two

On Sept 17 Dawson turned two. We had a blues clues party a few days later. The kids mad blues clues ears, had their faces painted, played games, and had cake. He love pretending to be blue. When it was time to blow out his candles a big line of drool fell from his lips right onto the cake. It was so funny but at the same time so disgusting.

Rain drops keep fallin on my head

In the middle of September it rained really hard. It was a great opportunity for Abigale to play in the rain. She was so cute I just had to grab my camera!

All I want for Christmas....

We went to the dentist and Gavin let the dentist pull his first two loose teeth. It looked like it hurt but he was so brave. The tooth fairy gave him 2 dollars and he was so excited. He can't wait to have his two bottom teeth grow in!

EGGS

We finally have a chicken laying! She gives us about 5 or 6 good eggs a week and one was even a double yoker! It is like Christmas every morning when we go out to the coop and collect our prize!

Love - Hate

Dawson has a love hate relationship with chapstick. On this particular day he got Abigales little mermaid chapstick out and rubbed it all over his face and hair. Normally it is clear so you can't tell. He came up to me saying chastick and when I showed him what he looked like in the mirror he flipped. He is not so fond of chapstick anymore.

Pre school

Abigale also started school. She is attending A Place to Grow Preschool and loves it. She is such a smart little girl and loves learning. She has been reading for a few months and is really enjoying it. It is very exciting to watch your kids grow up but also a little sad.

East Canyon

I took the kids to East Canyon for one last trip before winter hit. We stayed in a condo at the East Canyon resort where grandma and papa have a time share. The kids had a great time playing miniature golf, tennis, soccer, and of course eating. We are so blessed to have had so many wonderful vacations to make memories.

School starts

I know that it has been months since I have posted but I want to try and catch up. The boys started school on August 20. Ethan is in 4th grade and Gavin is in 1st grade. They were both so excited and are really enjoying school this year. Every once and a while Gavin will say can I be absent today but not often.
