We went to our ward Christmas party this month at classic skating. It was so much fun. Ethan brought his rip stick and the other kids brought scooters. Dawson liked to borrow toys from the other kids and at one point helped himself to two muffins at the snack table. They all had so much fun! Gavin and Abigale made us proud and even tried roller skating. It was a little tricky when Aaron and I hadn't done it for 15 years. Aaron even took a small tumble :) SORRY HUN! What a great ward we have!
On November 19 Ethan turned 10. Wow it feels like only yesterday that we became parents. He has been such a joy in my life. I remember when it was just the two of us and we went every where together. Every three months I took him to get his pictures taken at the mall. When he was old enough we would stop at hot dog on a stick and get a corn dog and lemonade. Man he loved those things. He is growing so quickly but I will always remember his as my little shopping buddy. We went to the cabin for his birthday and he got a Nintendo DS. Not a bad birthday I would say.
It snowed pretty good one day so Abigale just had to make a snowman. It turned out pretty cute but only a day later it had melted!
Once again we had a great crop of pumpkins. We all went out back and the kids picked which pumpkin they wanted for Halloween. It is becoming a fun family tradition.
On Sept 17 Dawson turned two. We had a blues clues party a few days later. The kids mad blues clues ears, had their faces painted, played games, and had cake. He love pretending to be blue. When it was time to blow out his candles a big line of drool fell from his lips right onto the cake. It was so funny but at the same time so disgusting.
