Party time

For Abigale's sixth party I made aprons for all of her friends and 6 inch cakes for them all to decorate. They got to pick how they wanted their cake to look and they loved that, they turned out so cute. We had yummy treats like pink chocolate covered oreos and pink marshmallows with strawberry skewers! We also played a few fun games. It was so cute and I am so happy that it turned out. My kitchen floor was covered with sprinkles and nerds but hey I have learned to relax as the years have gone by. My sister came early and helped me get ready and it was very nice to have someone help! She had such a great birthday!

Abigale is six

I can't believe that my sweet little daughter is six. It was her birthday on May 11. It really feels like she was just born. I am so happy that she is mine. She has been such a joy in my life. I love it how she calls me mamma and always wants to snuggle in my bed in the morning when she wakes up. She is such an amazing daughter. She is doing so well in school and loves it. She is so smart and cute! I love you Abigale. Happy birthday.

Goodbye old friend

On May 11 Dawson said goodbye to an old friend, his cast. It was actually quite scary. I just knew that she was going to cut off his thumb. I said how do you know when to stop and I don't think she liked me questioning her. It smelled so awful when it came off and dead skin was flaking all over the cart at walmart afterwards. Ugh I am so glad to have that over and done with. After about a day he was perfect.

Soccer

It is a crazy time of year with soccer going. Gavin and Abigale are both playing games on the same days and it is so fun to watch them. They are both doing great. I love to watch them play any kind of sport.

field trip for Abigale

I went on Abigale's field trip last week. she was so excited. We went to the farm at Thanksgiving Point. Dawson came too and had so much fun. We saw baby cows and a tiny baby horse. So cute!

Tea Party

So the other day Abigale decided that she wanted to have a tea party. The only problem was, she only has brothers. Being that smart little thing that she is, she decided that she would entice them with real food and candy. It worked and it was so cute watching them ask for more over and over again. What cute kids.

Let's go fly a kite

A few weeks ago we decided that it was a great day to fly kites. We started at our house and went up the street. At the top of the street Gavin's kite got caught in a tree and we had to cut the string to get it down. Abigale got hers stuck a few minutes after. Dawson ended up getting hurt so we decided that this was not one of our better kite flying days and went home! It was a good effort though.
