Oakley Rodeo

It has been a family tradition for many years to go to the Oakley rodeo. We love it. It was Dawson's first year to go and he did very well. The hard part about the rodeo is that it starts at 8:00 and our kids go to bed at 8:00. Dawson has never gone to bed late before so he got very tired but still was a good boy. After the rodeo there is a firework show that is excellent. We got home around 11:45 and Dawson and Abigale didn't fall asleep until about 11:30. It was a little bit late but very worth it.

Cupcake pops

These are my "Twilight" cupcake pops. I made these for a party that I am going to tonight. It is for all of my friends who are obsessed with the Twilight books. These treats are red velvet cupcakes dipped in chocolate on a stick to look like suckers. They turned out better than I thought. The red is supposed to be blood because the books have vampires in them. Strange, well only if you haven't read the book. Inside the cake is red, also for blood. Very cute, very yummy, but very time consuming.

Lehi days

Mom took the kids to Wynns park for all of the activities that go along with Lehi days. Gavin and Abigale were called to participate in the pig chase. Obviously by the pictures that went over real well. They got there faces painted, cotton candy, lunch and jumped on a few blow up toys. Very, very crowded but worth it for the kids.

BYU Football camp

We signed Ethan up for the BYU football camp with a bunch of his friends in the ward. He absolutely loved it. He started off a little unsure of himself and by the end he said that football is his favorite sport. What a great week for Ethan!

Grandma Wigingtons pool

I took the kids swimming at grandma Wigington's the other day and they had a blast. It is so hot outside so the only way to handle it is to be in the water. They all love swimming and Gavin is starting to follow in Ethan's footsteps and is swimming on his own! After we were done I wrapped Gavin in a towel for the ride home and had him walk to the car. I turned around to find him naked in the parking lot. I said Gavin put your towel on remember you can't be naked in front of people. He replied, can I be naked in back of people. He is so funny.

This was the first time I did Abigales hair like this and she loved it. What a fun summer look.
