Sea World

We finish the trip off going to Sea World. The kids were able to feed and touch a dolphin and that was so fun. We saw so many great animals, watched amazing shows, went on fun rides, and ate a yummy lunch. We had such a great week as a family and it was so fun spending time with Grandma and Papa.

Dolphin and whale watching

I saw on the news that California had a ton of blue whales visiting over the last few months so I knew that we needed to try and see some. I found a great place called Dave's Dolphin and Whale Safari. We had the best time. We left early in the morning and were gone for 3 or 4 hours. We saw so many blue whales and they were right next to our boat. Then we found a large pod of dolphins and they were jumping all over the place. We also saw a group of sea lions. We all loved the experience and would totally do it again. The boat had these glass pods under the boat and you were able to go in them and see the dolphins under the water. There were so many babies, it was amazing. Another great day!

Lego Land

We went to Lego Land and it was a great day. The sun was shining and the kids loved it. We were able to take Grandma and Papa on some of the rides that were closed last time we went because of the rain. We packed lunch and went to chick fil a for dinner. It was a good day!

another trip to the beach

The kids didn't get enough time at the beach so we went again the next day. They love the sand so much. What little cuties.

Oceanside beach

We went to Oceanside California on Sept 17 for a week. The first day we walked to the beach before it got dark. It was a little chilly but the kids didn't care. Dawson was completely different from the last time he went to the beach. He wouldn't even touch the sand. This time he was running into the ocean getting soaked with Gavin. The sunset was so pretty. I love the beach

Dawson is four

My baby turned four on September 17, 2011. I can hardly believe it. He is such a sweet little boy and loves to play and have fun. We were in California on his birthday so I bought a ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins and we had pizza. He was so happy. Grandma and Papa were there too so that made the celebration even more fun! Happy birthday Dawson!!!!
