So far this year has not been a great one for our family. I am not one to put all of our personal problems/situations out there for people to see or read but I felt I must post about this one. Yesterday poor little Dawson fell and broke his wrist. He cried a lot longer than a normal fall but I never thought it would be broken. It wasn't until three hours later when he woke up form his nap screaming and still saying it hurt that I thought hmmm..... what if. I felt like such a horrible mom because I waited so long to take him but honestly had no idea it was broken. We went to the Dr. and then to the hospital to get an x-ray. After that he was feeling much better because the Motrin kicked in. We headed back to the Doctors office to give them the x-ray copy. He got a sucker and a sticker and they put the wrapped arm in a sling until Wednesday when I can get the cast put on. His arm was quite swollen so they want it to rest a few days until the permanent one goes on. The total Dr time was 2 ling hours and little Dawson was so good and brave. I am so grateful that it is not worse and we are lucky that he is the first kid to have to get a cast.
