Cabin

I took the kids to the cabin with grandma and Papa for a little after Christmas vacation. We played in the snow and made a sledding hill that was way fun. We did lots of puzzles and watched Shrek Forever After. It was a lot of fun!

Christmas

The day finally arrived and Ethan and Gavin woke bright and early just to be told that they have to wait for Abigale to wake up. She didn't wake up until 8:00 and they were so frustrated. They all acted happy with what they got and we had a wonderful easy going morning. I made breakfast pizza, which is so divine and then we visited grandparents! What a great Christmas.

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve we went and visited great grandma Triptow in the morning. It was great to see her. She gave each of the kids a little gift and the family a gift card to sizzler. By the time we got home three of the four gifts were broken but I was so proud of my kids for being grateful for what they got and realizing that it is the thought that counts. For dinner we went to Papa and Grandma's house and after dinner the kids made pop tart houses. It was so cute and the kids loved it. When we got home the kids opened their new pj's that we give them every Christmas Eve. After that we exchanged family gifts. Everyone was so happy and went to bed very anxious for the coming morning. I have really loved the Christmas season this year. Sometimes it is easy to be down in the dumps with the economy the way it is and Aaron gone day and night but I am so thankful for my loving family and great friends that truly care about me and my family.

A snowy day

Gotta love those days when your kids are buddies again like they use to be years ago. That's what happened this snowy day. They were so cute making a hot tub in the snow but it ended abruptly when Gavin said that they needed to put water in the snow hot tub!!

Ward Christmas party

We went to classic skating for our ward Christmas party! The kids always have a blast. Love Ethan's face with Santa!

An exciting day

Abigale lost her first tooth. It was so much sooner than the boys. I think that everything this girl does will be very EARLY! She was so excited to tell everyone and couldn't wait for the tooth fairy to pay her a visit. The tooth fairy kept forgetting the tooth and finally after 4 nights the tooth was magically gone!!

Ethan is 11

I can't believe the day actually came that Ethan turned 11. He has grown up so fast. He went to the cabin with some friends and this was the first party that I wasn't at. It was good for him and the other boys to be with dads and do boy stuff. I sent a cake, snacks, and games. They had a great time and he got lots of cool gifts. He got a bb gun and a new basketball from mom and dad.
